The BIOZONE Biology Modular Workbook Series has been developed to meet the demands of customers with the requirement for a flexible modular resource. This title in the Biology Modular Workbook Series provides students with a set of comprehensive guidelines and highly visual worksheets through which to explore aspects of cell biology and biochemistry. Cell Biology & Biochemistry is the ideal companion for students of the life sciences, encompassing basic biochemistry, the structure and function of cells and their organelles, and an introduction to cell division and differentiation. This workbook comprises five chapters, each covering a different aspect of cell biology.

These areas are explained through a series of one and two-page activities, each of which explores a specific concept (e.g. diffusion or mitosis). Cell Biology & Biochemistry is a student-centered resource. Students completing the activities, in concert with their other classroom and practical work, will consolidate existing knowledge and develop and practise skills that they will use throughout their course. This workbook may be used in the classroom or at home as a supplement to a standard textbook. Some activities are introductory in nature, while others may be used to consolidate and test concepts already covered by other means.
